Hi Bobby, I was at the Trocadero before the club had a liquor license, just juice and fruit. I was at the 1979 New Years Eve party, the 1980 Holiday and white parties. I had the time of my life at the Troc. I never missed a party. After one trip to Europe I got off the plane at about midnight and headed directly to the Troc for the White Party. I still have my old membership cards, and I believe the wine bottle (Chateau Du Troc) is from the 1979 new years eve party. I still have the bottle in storeage. The Trocadero was the best club on the west coast. Les Pappas, and Jim Bo never let me leave the club if I was under the influence. There was no attitude. People who went to the Troc went to dance, and NO BODY could spin and mix like you. I will be 60 years old this year and still dream about returning to the Troc for just one night, to relive just one party. I liked the fact that the club was diverse in terms of gender and sexual orientation and all members of the gay community partied there, and no body seemed to give a damn about race. The Troc was truly a unique experience and I miss it very much. There hasn't a club since that could match the sound system. Little things like a wooden dance floor and dance wax made the Trock a cut above the rest. I always danced in the center of the floor under the disco ball, with the speakers in the ceiling surrounding it. The Troc was my lover. I haven't listened to any of the downloaded music. When the CD's arrive, I plan to rock the house. We have never met, but I feel like I have an intimate relationship with you through your music. Viteritti, I have never ever heard anyone better to date and I have heard everyone, Burgess (close to you) Wayne Scott Terry Sherman Michael Jorba Sharon White Robbie Leslie Michael Fierman Henry Winslow Roy Thode Frank Hulihan Richie Rivera Bobby DJ Morabito (presently) Warren Gluck (very good) Aurelio "Monster" Martin (personal childhood friend)................ ..........you name them all, you are sooo sooo at the top of the list.......I have never ever anyone as smooth, as pretty w/their playing and as technically PERFECTO - MUNDO as you my dear friend........and what taste in music and in programming............You are the Chopin/Mozart of DJs........ Out of this world in loveliness playing...........You should be soooo proud of yourself and your talent................. AG -
